Update March 25

There's really not all that much to update. I went to the bank last week to open an account with them as I have never actually dealt with the bank giving us the loan before. The loan officer is very keen for me to borrow more money for my personal business as that goes on his work record, but after speaking with my accountant, I'm not going to make my translation business an LLC just yet. I have to start paying consumption tax on my earnings this year, but it's still a relatively low rate that I have to pay. A year or so after I moved to Nagano the company's warehouse was being forced to move back further from the street by the city and at the same time, my in-law's next door neighbors were going to tear down their house and rebuild, so instead of rebuilding the warehouse further away from the street, they asked their neighbors to trade land with them, and they did, but...

Blogging Again

We were finally approved for a home loan! And here I am to document the entire process because it's not just a house we're building. Big things are in the works. Stay tuned!
